Puerto Montt - In this building is 5 Sea-Side Restaurants.
You Can watch the Sea Lions in the water, (on my left,)
while dining.

Note the wood burning Heater.  Looking in the window is
Javier, the Chile Engineer who is working on wind power
and Water power for our development.
The Diesel powered 4-WD Truck I rented for the 5 of us to make
this Journey.  This road is the Northern boundary of our land.
That rock you see is all ours.  Our best  estimate is that we have
About 8,000 acres of flat land.  The other 61,000 acres is the most
beautiful to walk, hike, ride a horse, or climb through.  Most
People will live on the flat land, but a few “not-conformist” such
as me, will live in this wilderness mountain area.
At about 4,000 feet, we found some snow.
You can catch all kinds of fish off this shore line.  We plan on putting a Fishing pier
out about 500 feet to give us a covered, heated area to fish.  We will install an artificial
reef to attract fish.  Set back in comfort, fish, and watch football on TV, day or night.
We will also put in a few computer terminals; all with world wide phones.
Is there anything that will protect the value of our land?
Yes, we are buying the land for $80 per acre.  A major reason for this price is that only a small percent of it is accessible.  It is forest land that has been visited by very few people. It has some trees that are 3,000 years old.  The initial funds will be used to purchase the property and build roads and bridges that will make much more of the land accessible.  This should raise the average land value significantly.

Go to http://rancheschile.com/id3.html and you will see a ranch North of us selling land for $2,750 to $4,000/acre.  They have a larger percentage of flat land than we do, but we have 100 miles of private rivers and 6 miles of Pacific Ocean frontage that they do not have.  They do not have anything that can compare to what we have to offer.

One of Many small Family Owned shops in Puerto Montt
Cat took this picture as I was driving.  Her second shot is below.  This rock is also ours. We have a lot of neat rocks. Note the water falls.  I may put my house on this mountain, up near the top.  The view from here is outstanding.  This is where my “water fall” is located.  It appears we have about 4 miles of border on this road. Want to join me?  We can also see the Pacific Ocean and the large waves on the other side of this island that protects us from the wind and the waves.
